Dehradun.Mr. Faustin Archange Touadera, the President of the Central African Republic, visited Doon Scholars on May 23, 2023.
Mrs. Tripti Chopra, the Principal of Doon Scholars, warmly welcomed and introduced him to the students during the morning assembly.
The Chairman, Mr. Rajesh Negi, presented a bouquet as a gesture of welcome. The students greeted the guest with a welcome song. They also showcased the culture of Uttarakhand through a dance performance. The President, Mr. Faustin Archange Touadera shared the importance of education with the students. The Chairman, Mr. Rajesh Negi and the Director, Mrs. Kanchan Negi presented memento and gifts to the guest as a token of gratitude. Miss Ragini Negi expressed gratitude in a vote of thanks, stating that it was an honor and privilege for the school to have the guest visit and spend time with them. The guest toured the school and expressed appreciation for the school and its students. Finally, the guest joined a tea reception organized by the school managemet.
