10 Mountaineers Killed In Uttarakhand Avalanche, Search On For 11 Others
October 04. Reports are coming in that 10 mountaineers of national institute for mountaineering have been killed in a avlaunch in draupadi peak.
All the trainees are from the Nehru Mountaineering Institute in Uttarkashi
Ten trainee mountaineers were killed after an avalanche hit them on a mountain in Uttarakhand today. Eight have been rescued and rescuers are searching for 11 more.

Uttarakhand police chief Ashok Kumar said Indian Air Force helicopters are helping in the rescue effort.
